Internships at Seashore Trolley Museum has year-round un-paid internships available in the areas of nonprofit management, hospitality, historic preservation, curatorial, event planning and coordination. There are also opportunities to learn marketing, fund development, grant-writing, volunteer recruitment and management, and general museum administration.
Seashore plans an intern’s experience based on their own career goals, and course requirements, and they will have the opportunity to observe and work alongside the Executive Director as well as other Museum staff and volunteers. The Museum is a very hands-on work environment with more avenues than most people would imagine for professional growth. In existence for over 80 years Seashore has many relationships within the surrounding communities that could represent additional growth potential for a motivated person.
To apply for internships at Seashore Trolley Museum, submit a resume, cover letter, and two academic and/or professional references to our Executive Director at [email protected]. We are delighted to work with students age 18 and older to develop Internships that will provide them experience in their fields of study. The Museum is operational year-round so we are working even when we are closed for the season to the public. So don’t wait – get in touch and get involved today!
