Directions to National Streetcar Museum at Lowell
The Museum is located in the Mack Building at 25 Shattuck Street in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts, diagonally across the street from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitors Center. This is a satellite operation of the Seashore Trolley Museum, Kennebunkport, ME. Seashore operates New Orleans car 966 on a long-term loan to the Lowell National Historic Park. Trolley rides in Lowell run throughout the day (7 days a week in season) and are offered free of charge.
To drive to the Museum, take the Lowell Connector from either Route 495 (Exit 35C) or Route 3 (Exit 30A if traveling southbound, Exit 30B if traveling northbound) to Thorndike Street (Exit 5B). Follow brown and white “Lowell National and State Park” signs. Free parking is available in the Lowell National Historical Park’s Visitor Parking Lot next to Market Mills. Follow the path through the building, past the Park Visitors Center and out onto Market Street. The National Streetcar Museum is directly opposite the entrance at 25 Shattuck Street.
