Sign-ups are now open for our 2023 Railway Operations Training! Volunteer to operate trolleys for our guests this season at the world’s first and largest electric railway museum.The first part of our new operator training is four, 2-hour Zoom classes. We are offering these classes on either Mondays or Tuesdays. Group one classes will be held on Mondays April 24, May 1, 8, and 15 from 6:30PM-8:30PM. Group two training classes will be offered on Tuesdays May 30, June 6, 13, and 20 from 6:30PM-8:30PM. Let us know which training group works best for your schedule.
The second part of new operator training is one-on-one experience, where you will be matched with an instructor who will show you the ropes. They will operate and conduct alongside of you until you’re ready to go solo.
Participants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license in their state of residence. The cost of the class is $35, which covers training materials and your name badge.
