Daniel Tiger Visits Seashore!
September 12 - September 13
Daniel Tiger Visits Seashore! Back by popular demand, Daniel Tiger will visit Seashore Trolley Museum on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th. Meet Daniel Tiger, son of Daniel Striped Tiger from the PBS series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood!
Hop on a real trolley shuttle (on our railroad!) to Daniel Tiger’s Seashore Neighborhood (Highwood Trolley Barn) to meet Daniel and Seashore’s very own Biddeford & Saco Car 31 to visit and take photos with Daniel and this special trolley car. Enjoy other activities around the Museum campus, including story time, a craft, and more! Guests can also visit our regular Museum exhibits and displays and ride trolleys on our private 3-mile round trip heritage railroad.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 24th at 10:00AM (a link to purchase tickets will be posted here on that date/time). In 2019, this event sold out in 24 hours, so we have added a second day in 2020. The event will be held rain or shine.
Children ages 2 and under: Free!
Children ages 3-5: $5
Youth ages 6-16: $9.50
Adults ages 17-59: $12

Seashore Trolley Museum members are eligible for free tickets, while supplies last. Individual Members may reserve up to one free ticket, Plus-One Members may reserve up to two tickets, Corporate Members may reserve up to four tickets, Family Memberships may reserve up to five tickets.
On September 12th & 13th, the Museum will be open from 10AM-5PM. Daniel Tiger will be visiting with us from 11:00AM-4:00PM. Tickets will be sold for time slots at 30-minute intervals for the shuttle ride to see Daniel Tiger; we ask that guests arrive at the Museum at least 30 minutes prior to boarding time. This will ensure ample time for parking and checking in at our Registration Tent. Registration will be located between our Visitors Center and Tower C, visible from our parking lot. Stroller parking will be available near Tower C and Morrison Hill Station.
Guests are welcome to arrive earlier and stay later to take advantage of all of the other activities, exhibits and displays at the Museum! Pack a picnic lunch. Ther are picnic areas throughout our campus with picnic tables, and plenty of lawn space for lawn chairs or blankets. A hot dog – mac and cheese lunch and other snacks, juice boxes and water will be available for purchase at our Trolley Fare!
Thank you to Maine Public for partnering with us on this event!
