The Seashore Trolley Museum Library maintains the Library of the New England Electric Railway Historical Society. The collection contains extensive inventory of photographs, postcards, articles, magazines, books, as well as many artifacts of the streetcar era. The items in the collection have come from individuals who have donated their individual, personal possessions as well as entire collections. In addition to this largesse from devoted railfans are also many items the Society has acquired independently.
At present the Library is closed to the public, however the Library has embarked on an ambitious project for a new building to house its large collection. Consider making a donation for the new building. The new building will be climate controlled for the protection of our collection and include dedicated space for research.
