Welcome to Museum Educator Jackson Seeberg

Please join us in officially welcoming Jackson Seeberg to our professional staff team. Jackson, our new Museum Educator for our Model Railroad Building, originally comes from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and has always been passionate about history, developing a deep love for American history at an early age. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2018 with a BA in International Studies and spent time abroad in his undergraduate career teaching overseas. Finding a love for teaching and education, he then earned an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin and another MA in TESOL from Oklahoma State University in 2020 and 2024, respectively. He additionally earned a master’s level certificate in Museum and Curatorial Studies from OSU. During his time at OSU, Jackson became increasingly involved in the local community and served as a Board of Trustees member, representing the student body of OSU, at the Stillwater History Museum from January 2023 to May 2024. During his career as an educator he taught all ages level, from kindergarten to university level. His desire to work more closely with the community, however, saw him pivot his career path towards community education. This has led him to become the newest staff member at the Seashore Trolley Museum.
