Night Photo Shoot: The Bus Collection
November 14 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We are proud to invite you to our first all Bus Night Photo Shoot!
Seashore Trolley Museum traditionally hosts a formal night photo shoot every November, but with COVID restrictions, our traditional event is not able to happen until pandemic restrictions have passed. Instead, this year our Bus Department has taken up the torch to offer this more casual, COVID-friendly experience. Join our volunteers at 5PM for an evening of fun and photography–we’ll end when the excitement wears off or when it gets too cold 🙂
All experience levels are welcome; all camera types, including smart phones, are welcome. You do you!
It’s free to register for this event and donations will be collected that evening (suggested donation, $20 to support the work of the Bus Department). To follow state COVID guidelines, reservations are required. Please visit https://busnightphotoshoot.eventbrite.com to reserve your spot.
Food and beverages will not be provided this year, but feel free to bring your own. Facilities will be available in the Visitors Center. Unfortunately the Exhibit Room must remained closed, so please dress warmly. This is a “dry” event — alcohol and drugs are not permitted.
Seashore Trolley Museum is taking the pandemic very seriously. Masks are required inside our Visitors Center, inside our buses and collection items, and when social distancing isn’t possible outdoors. We have turned off our water fountain per State of Maine guidelines, so please bring your own water bottle.
We have closed the items we have on display in the carbarns; traditionally our guests can go in all of our collection pieces and ring the bell, sit inside them, etc., but we just do not have the volunteer crew available to clean them as frequently as required during the pandemic. Check out our full external and internal COVID-19 policies, here before reserving tickets: https://trolleymuseum.org/learn/bylaws-policies/covid-19-policies/
As of 9/14/20, the State of Maine welcomes visitors to the state from NH, MA, NY, NJ, CT and VT with no quarantine or travel restrictions. Residents from all other states must quarantine for two weeks in the State of Maine or bring results of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the previous 72 hours of your visit.
Day of the Event Screening Questions: If you or a guest in your group can answer “yes” to the following questions, we ask that you not visit the Museum at this time.
Have you had a cough or sore throat?
Have you had a fever or do you feel feverish?
Do you have shortness of breath?
Do you have a loss of taste or smell?
Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
By reserving tickets at this time, you and all guests in your group accept and agree to adhere to COVID-19 policies as written. Policies may change as the state of our Museum and Maine change. Updates to our policies will be posted on our website’s homepage (address below).
