Museum Clean Up Days (Postponed)
April 26 - May 1
Museum Spring Clean Up Days have been postponed—we will announce new dates when we have a better sense of when we can open for the season.
Museum Spring Clean Up Days are here! Help with our annual spring cleaning by sprucing up our grounds and buildings before our Opening Day on May 2nd! Types of projects will include sweeping out our car barns, raking, painting buildings, placing exhibits, moving objects from guest areas to restricted areas and more! Volunteers that help for four (4) or more hours will receive a Free Pass to come back during our season with family or friends.
Sign up yourself and/or your group here!
Museum Clean Up Days are a great chance to get re-involved with Seashore after the long winter. It is also an opportunity for people who have not previously had an chance, to be more involved with the museum. No special skills are needed. Whether you come alone or with a group you will be most welcome. Take some time for yourself to get out with family and/or friends and enjoy the outdoors while supporting the place you love!
Projects will be selected for you/your family or group (if the current COVID-19 circumstances change) 3 days in advance of your date and we will communicate via email these details with you. Many of the projects are outside, and we want to make sure the weather is comfortable for you, and that the snow has melted before we confirm what your group will be doing. 1-2 Museum volunteers will serve as project leaders for the day and will work alongside you during your time with us. Solo-individual and solo-family projects will also be available to prevent COVID-19 spread.
