Massachusetts Day at Seashore
August 29 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Welcome to Massachusetts Day at Seashore!
Today we’ll feature some of our vehicles from Massachusetts. General admission will apply, and residents of Massachusetts will receive half off the price of admission. If you’re feeling the mood, we’ll gladly accept donations for our restoration projects.
Project Sponsor Phil Tsihilis will be available to take questions and to feature the Red Line 1400s from 10 am – 2 pm.
You can read more about our fundraising goals here: https://trolleymuseum.org/01400s/
Right at the opening, we’ll have a book signing with author Julia O’Brien Merrill who authored the children’s book, “Charlie on the M.T.A. Did he Ever Return?” Julia will be signing books from 10 am – 12 noon while the famous song plays.
Volunteer Joseph Polimer will be presenting the Boston Pullman Trackless Trolley in the afternoon from 1:00 – 3:00
You can read more about the restoration needs and fundraising goals of the Boston Pullman here: https://trolleymuseum.org/boston8361/
There will not be extra admission costs for our special features today, so please consider making donations at the featured vehicles. Seashore thanks you!
While here, make sure you take a ride on our heritage railroad in a vintage trolley from the early 1900s. Explore three carhouses filled with beautiful, restored trolleys and several other precious transit artifacts around our outdoor campus.
Massachusetts residents please purchase your half price tickets at our Visitor’s Center. All others can purchase tickets ahead here (suggested but you can also buy at the door):
