Following our 2022 Annual Meeting, there is one vacancy on the Board of Trustees, and following our May 2022 meeting there will be a second vacancy, as Vice Chair Sue Ellen Stavrand has moved out of state and is unable to continue in her role.
The application period will remain open until vacant positions are filled.
Candidates seeking appointment should complete the Trustee Candidate Application included in this packet and return it to Katie Orlando, Executive Director, at [email protected]. The Board Development Committee will interview each candidate to determine their fit for the role. Candidates endorsed by the Board Development Committee are then presented to the Board of Trustees to consider for appointment.
The Board Development Committee has identified the following strengths that are currently missing or lacking on the current Board of Trustees; as such, candidates that possess these strengths will be considered for appointment over election first during this election year:
- Trustees with expertise in human resources, law/attorney, builder/contractor, or investment
- Trustees from York County, Maine and the three-town area Seashore Trolley Museum is located
- Trustees representing ethnic and gender minorities
For questions or more information about the Trustee positions available, please reach out to a member of our Board Development Committee or review our Bylaws, available HERE.
