New England Electric Railway Historical Society

The New England Electric Railway Historical Society is an educational, tax-exempt organization within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the NEERHS are deductible to the fullest extent provided by tax laws.

Incorporated in 1941, the NEERHS is the owner and operator of the Seashore Trolley Museum and the National Streetcar Museum at Lowell. Leadership of the organization is a twelve-member board of trustees.
