Since 2000, the past-time of treasure hunting has blossomed with a 21st century twist. Armed with a GPS receiver a general description of an area, modern day treasure hunters play a large game of hide-and-seek.
Geocaches are small containers hidden out of sight and contain a logbook and perhaps a memento that can be exchange for another. Some even include a prize for finding the cache for the first time.
Seashore Trolley Museum has around its property three caches and we invite you to bring your GPSr to find them! The ones located at the Museum are small (log and pencil), fairly easy to find, and are ideal for beginners just getting into the hobby.

The Riverside and Highwood Carbarn caches require Museum admission, and during the winter they are inaccessible. Please, no night-caching for any of these.
