Bay State Street Railway #4175 and Wheeling Traction Co. #639 in the Shop |
Built in 1969, Town House is Seashore's main workshop and is "Where the Magic Happens". Over the course of years and amid the helping hands of our many volunteers we see cars enter as rusting hulks and emerge as pristine authentically restored operating vehicles. The name of our shop comes from the Atlantic Shore Line Railway car house that was located right down Log Cabin Road at Town House Square in Kennebunkport.
While there's activity with many of the pieces in the Museum's collection, the following is a mixture of cars that were recently completed, have had some work done in the past year, or are currently in a long-term restoration program.
Restoration projects like these need your support. Help us with the restoration of one of the cars listed above or any other car in our extensive worldwide collection by making a donation of money or materials (donations are tax deductible), or by volunteering to help with the actual restoration work in our shop, please contact the Restoration Shop.
